Closing FAQ

When is the last day I can bring donations of clothing, home goods + accessories?
July 31, 2018. We are still putting new items on the floor as we get them in!

When is the last day to shop?
August 31, 2018 (this is a tentative date dependent upon our stream of donations).

Why are you closing the store?
Our product sources have decreased over the past 18 months. Store revenue has also steadily decreased, and at the same time, Mission: St. Louis, our parent nonprofit, has developed partnerships with local businesses that can provide job training more cost-effectively.

What can we do to help?
Tell your friends and family about Revive's going out of business sale and continue to bring in donations through July 31, 2018.

Can we buy store displays?
Yes, everything in the store will be for sale including all store displays. However, the displays will be for sale at a later date when we no longer need to use them for merchandise.

What will happen to all the donations after the store closes?
After the store closes on August 31, 2018, we will be donating the rest of the items to local churches and our partner nonprofits.

Will we still get our tax receipts? Are they still valid?
Yes, of course. All 2018 tax receipts are still valid and available.

I donated earlier this year. Can I take back my donations?
Unfortunately, no. Your donations may have already been put on the store floor or resold in the shop to raise money for Mission: St. Louis' programming.

Where should I take my donations after you close?
We have compiled a list of alternative shops where you can donate or consign your clothing and accessories after Revive closes.

Is Revive for sale?
No, Revive is not for sale. Mission: St. Louis does not own the building that Revive is now in, and their lease is up in early 2019.
